Sony has announced that Until Dawn 2 will be receiving exclusive gameplay at US cinema chain the Alamo Drafthouse on December 11, 2026, and will also be complemented by a horror movie marathon.
“Until Dawn 2 comes to Alamo Drafthouse on December 11 for exclusive gameplay, a horror movie marathon, and special talent appearances. More details on the event and livestream coming soon,” the official PlayStation X account reads.
Co-developed by Firesprite and AdHoc Studio, Until Dawn 2 is a standalone sequel to the original 2015 Until Dawn from Supermassive Games, and follows a group of ghost hunters, Dead True, as they find themselves fighting for survival on a tropical island after staging paranormal content. As with the original game, Until Dawn 2 places major emphasis on player choice, influencing what characters survive and how the narrative progresses. Depending on your actions, every main character can live or die.
Until Dawn 2 is scheduled for release on January 28, 2027 for PS5.
