HuneX and its subsidiary Dramatic Create have announced the release date for Ooe on Nintendo Switch. The latest BL game from developer ADELTA will be available worldwide on December 24, 2026.
Ooe is a Showa Era horror mystery that takes place in a deserted fishing village. With one detective and nine criminals coming together for the cerimony held on the anniversary of an actress’s death.
The protagonist, a young man called Osaki (voice: Rin Rinsei), works at Shinkiba Detective Agency and receives an odd job. His client, Shizuma Daiba, who looks very similar to him, asks Osaki to take his place in the ceremony as a “proxy mourner.”
As a BL game, it’s up to the player to get more intimate with the men mourning the departed, learning more about them and their circumstances. However, the story also promises chaos as one of them is found dead and even more incidents pile up in each route.
The Switch edition of Ooe includes multiple subtitle options (Japanese, English, Korean, and Simplified/Traditional Chinese) with the player being able to change between them at any point. There are also new Case Files episodes expanding the plot with side stories, a voice save feature and a BGM player. Hinode has also received newly implemented voice acting.
