Twisted Tower Adds New Languages in Halloween Update With MOUSE: P.I. For Hire

Developer Atmos Games has announced several Halloween updates for its horror-comedy first-person shooter Twisted Tower, including expanded language support, a new Steam bundle with MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, and the game’s biggest discount yet during Steam Scream Fest. The announcement also highlights improvements made in response to community feedback, giving players more reasons to revisit the game’s twisted amusement park.

For more on the game, check out our Twisted Tower review, where we praised its inventive arsenal and varied environments while noting some shortcomings in its storytelling and humor.

One of the most notable additions is expanded localization, with Twisted Tower now supporting seven languages: English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Spanish. The update makes the game’s dialogue-heavy adventure accessible to a wider audience.

According to creator and project lead Thomas Brush, the team prioritized human translations to preserve the game’s storytelling and personality. Localization partner Riotloc worked on the translations, while Discord community members helped test them before release.

Atmos Games has also continued addressing bugs and implementing player-requested features. Among the improvements is manual saving and loading, which is now available alongside the existing autosave system. The feature joins several other fixes introduced through recent updates.

Brush emphasized the importance of community feedback for the three-person development team, thanking players for their reviews, bug reports, and suggestions.

“Hearing what you love is encouraging, and hearing what could be better helps us make meaningful improvements.”

The Halloween celebration also includes a collaboration with PlaySide, bringing Twisted Tower and MOUSE: P.I. For Hire together in a new Steam bundle. Brush explained that MOUSE: P.I. For Hire served as an inspiration during Twisted Tower’s development, making the partnership particularly meaningful. Players interested in both shooters can find the MOUSE: P.I. For Hire x Twisted Tower bundle on Steam.

Additionally, Twisted Tower is receiving its largest discount to date as part of Steam Scream Fest. Brush noted that Halloween has always felt like a natural fit for the game, with its pumpkins, vibrant colors, eerie soundtrack, and unsettling atmosphere designed to capture the spirit of the holiday.

As for what’s next, Atmos Games teased that more is on the horizon, although the developer stopped short of sharing specific details about future content or updates.
