Pop Elephant Studio has released Dissolution of My Self on PC (Steam). The title is a psychological horror narrative game with point-and-click and BL elements and can be played in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.

Dissolution of My Self tells the story of Hector, an exiled prince living in a rented room with his uncle Matvey. After a lot of things have happened and with only his uncle left, he now longs to completely forget the memories he refuses to face.

It’s up to the player to investigate the objects in the room, helping Hector to awaken his memories in order to forget them. While the game has only one ending, the order of what the player interacts with determines the way the story unfolds.

At the center of everything, Hector’s twisted relationship with his uncle is an important part. There’s a strong sense of dependence, themes of trauma and unease from how things work between the two of them.

Hector’s voice actor is Netoru Irakusa (Azuma from Paradise and Seiji from Room No.9). Meanwhile, Matvey is voiced by Tetsuto Furukawa, whose previous roles include NO, THANK YOU!!! protagonist Haru and the Japanese versions of Full Service’s Remi Svensson and Hisami Kondo.
