If you’re wondering what’s happening this month in World of Warships or World of Warships: Legends, we have you covered. In a recent announcement, Wargaming shared details on both of the game’s November updates. You could say both are horror focused – one because the content does actually have a cosmic horror theme, and the other because it’s Black Friday related. And we all know what a nightmare the latter can be.
World of Warships’ November update introduces the “Horror from the Abyss” event. During this event, which runs until December 16, players will be investigating unusual happenings and a cult. Players will group up in teams of seven to take on bots, and the first four weeks of the event will introduce new Operations. These Operations will then be rotated randomly and their mechanics will change. Completing them will earn players Stars that can be traded in for prizes, including the opportunity to customize the event’s rental ship.
In World of Warships: Legends, players will be able to pick up Black ships for Black Friday. There are six ships available, each with dedicated flags. Among them are the Pan-American Tier VII Premium cruiser Almirante Grau B and the U.S. Legendary Tier Premium battleship Rhode Island B.
In addition the “Cold Rain, Gray Steel campaign, featuring 100 milestone to complete, will be running until December 7. Completing the milestones with Admirality Backing will earn players a new Japanese Tier VII destroyer. Meanwhile, a new Commander will be available for Soviet battleships.
